Salvager Terry Jackson and his determined crew are searching for lost German gold from WW-2 when their anchor snags an anti-ship mine causing it to explode and damage their vessel. Back in port to repair the boat, they hear a tale of a flight of five fighter aircraft that successfully landed on ice-covered Lake Superior in a blinding storm at the end of the war, only to have the ice break, plummeting the five aircraft into the dark frigid waters. Fortunately the five pilots survive the ordeal. After over 60 years there is only one of these heros left, and he is the only one who thinks he knows the location of the valuable aircraft. T.J. and his crew are now intent on finding them. Greedy gold-seeking pirates and sudden storms will make the search for this sunken treasure the ultimate challenge.
