In the trilogy’s final chapter, the veteran detectives are on the trail of a group of out of control vigilantes who are wreaking havoc throughout Los Angeles leaving a trail of dead bodies and massive destruction in their wake. When the vigilantes try to recruit Mike into their organization due to his methods of law enforcement from The Martial Arts Murders and Life and Money Heist, Mike begins to question whether he is a true officer of the law or a vigilante himself. But does the crazed mastermind behind the vigilantes have a hidden agenda? The answer comes from the most stunning plot twist in the trilogy when one of the LAPD’s own is discovered to be working both sides and the identity of the traitor must be solved from a room full of suspects. Moral Executioners is another roller coaster ride full of heart stopping police drama and martial arts action in the tradition of the trilogy. Hold on tight!

Book Excerpt

Mike ran around another series of crates and saw a slightly open area with two SUVs parked there. Inside one of the vehicles were two men who were firing on three members of the SWAT team. The SWAT team members were behind a small stack of crates but the vigilantes had them pinned down pretty good. The two men were leaning slightly outside the open driver’s side door and passenger side door. The doors were open half way and were being used as cover. Mike ran forward as fast as he could toward the SUV from behind. A few feet from the vigilante at the passenger side door, Mike fell on his left side, slid under the vigilante, kicked the inside of the door outward with a right leg side kick while sliding on the floor. Mike rolled on his stomach continuing the slide while the door hit it’s open most point causing the hinge to send the door back toward the vehicle. The door just barely cleared Mike’s body and continued closing fast toward the SUV. Before the vigilante could react, the door slammed hard all the way into the man’s face knocking him out cold instantly. When Mike’s slide ended, he got up on one knee and shot the man behind the driver’s side door sending him flying backward in a midair death dance spraying blood as his body flew back and finally fell to the floor.

The three SWAT team members looked out from behind their cover and each raised a hand toward Mike in thanks. Mike just nodded in acknowledgment and ran off toward the northern end of the warehouse.

Deeper into the warehouse, Mike rounded a corner and came across the middle of the warehouse. This was the area he was in the night Eric blew up the lawyer’s house. Off to Mike’s right, were five men behind crates that appeared to be stacked haphazardly and quickly. They were firing on SWAT team members as well as Mark and Lieutenant Mace who didn’t have much cover behind some concrete pillars that were holding up one of the elevated warehouse’s offices. The rattling of machine gun fire was echoing throughout the warehouse but most of it was coming from the vigilantes firing on Mark’s position. Mike knew that Mark, Mace and the other men didn’t have much time if he didn’t do something. Off to Mike’s left, he saw a strong rope hanging from the ceiling tied against the wall just above a stack of crates. Mike reloaded his silver cannon, climbed the crates, untied the rope from the wall and took a deep breath. He held the rope tight with his left hand, held his gun at the ready with his right then jumped from the crates. Mike swung all the way through the open area behind the vigilantes firing his gun all the way. The booms could be heard above the automatic weapon fire and Mike managed to kill four of the five men, shooting them while swinging past them from behind on the rope.

Mike saw Lieutenant Mace and Mark quickly step from behind their pillars and finish off the last man who continued firing even though the tables had now been turned. The man flew backward, his body jerking in the same death dance before falling dead to the floor.

When Mike let go of the rope, he was only three feet off the floor, when he landed he ran a few feet to stop his momentum. Another vigilante suddenly ran from behind a stack of crates toward Mike whose gun was out of ammo after emptying his clip at the vigilantes. Mike pulled out the samurai sword from his back and threw it at the man advancing toward him with a gun drawn. The sword flew toward the man parallel to the floor twirling around like a helicopter blade. The man didn’t see it until it was too late, the blade chopped the man’s head off and continued through a crate behind the man with the blade sticking out the opposite side of the crate.
