To teach is to demonstrate. There are only two thought systems; you demonstrate that you believe one or the other. The purpose of the course is to provide a means of choosing what you want to teach on the basis of what you want to learn. You learn through teaching. It is a chance to teach others what you are and what they are to you. No more than that. The curriculum is set up by what you think you are and what you believe the relationship of others is to you. Teaching reinforces what you believe about yourself in order to diminish self-doubt.
Jesus described what our holy relationship should be with God, the Holy Spirit and our brothers, including Himself. He showed us how we can align ourselves with God's Will through forgiveness, by overlooking the negative words and actions of others. The process of doing that requires a change in the way we think - a change of mind.
The mind is all-powerful and must make choices between the ego that we made and the Holy Spirit Who represents God's Will. All of the changes or corrections in our thinking can be accomplished in an instant - a holy instant in which we remember God's Will for us. The result is peace of mind and happiness - Heaven on earth - in harmony with mankind and the universe. Getting to that end takes understanding of God's Will, the roles of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, God's Sons - our brothers, the ego and our Self. It takes continuous daily awareness and practice. And it all comes down to this: think of others as you wish to be thought of. See Jesus and yourself in everyone. And seek guidance from within.
