Astonishing answers to unspoken questions revealed

Life is full of poetry. I write in hopes of uplifting the spirits of those who have lost themselves and others who think that life is just about living and about themselves. What you're going through, many others have already been there. God created each of us with a special gift, and to live to help each other.

Since God has all the riches, all the power, fame, and fortune, we need Him, and He doesn't need us.

In times like these, we all need prayer. For we don't know what lies before us. We need to pray during the good times, bad times and pray not just for ourself, but for one another, for there is power in praying. When we pray, why we pray, how we pray, where we pray is our connection in communicating with God.

No one is exempt from trials and tribulations, but through prayer, it helps us cope with the situation a lot easier, because God puts no more on us than we can handle. We don't know why we go through some things, but everything that happens in life happens for a reason. We pray for understanding, we gain knowledge, and through life experiences we're rewarded wisdom.

God has the answers to everything. Everything we go through and are going through, God already knows, because He sits high and looks low. God knows our heart as well as our thoughts. He knows everything about us.

And if we just look back over our life to where we have been to where we are now-realize that we are blessed just to have life. God is a good God and we should show gratitude through praying for simple things as well as big things, because blessings come in all sizes.

Book Excerpt

I've been waiting for my blessing not knowing what to expect
taking for granted just being here, I've already been blessed, I'm blessed
though I have everything I need, I'm lacking somethings I want
but I have the breath of life, that's what mostly counts

Yvonne Annette Curtis is a student of the human condition, wielding the written craft to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. She Forgot to Pray is the first in a series of recent pursuits, with work progressing quickly on the follow-up.
