Roosevelt has acquired 34 years of HSE experience in the following industrial areas: oil and gas production, chemical manufacturing, construction, paint manufacturing, and refining.

Roosevelt has held the following positions throughout his career International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Rig Pass Instructor, master level instructor for PEC, and Chairperson of SafeLand USA. In addition to serving as president of the National Safety Management Society (NSMS), he has eight years on the World Safety Organization Board.

Roosevelt established Smith Safety Training & Audits to provide superior environmental, health, and safety training programs, along with top-notch safety audits and inspections. In addition, he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Smith Safety Training & Audits. Programs areas are in compliance to strict OSHA standards and industry practices.
