Left with only the science fiction areas of his brain to work with, neurology patient Sargon X confabulates a universe in which all Earth’s science fiction has been pirated. Traveling galaxy to galaxy, halfway around the Universe, Sargon must recover it and bring it home. For that he is helped by his wife Miirpax a mythological mythmaker, Fandango a scheming computer, the Thought Stone a magical talisman, his doctors at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, his friends in college, and Plasmola, a creative energy drink, produced from his pineal gland, without which he will die by the hand of Breenzax, Miirpax’s evil stepfather.
