Who or What Is God?
This question has greatly challenged the intellects of men and women throughout this age. And it is an important one. For to settle for less than satisfying answers can result in a fundamentally flawed spiritual life—one that is void of power and given over to frustration and futility. On the other hand, to learn the truth about God and allow that truth to saturate our consciousness brings a harvest of wisdom and peace. This book by Jakeb Brock attempts to answer this question from several different angles. In twenty-one free-style discourses, connected only by the theme of knowing God aright, the reader is introduced to the one true God and thereby empowered to let go of his or her previously held misconceptions. As Jakeb writes in Discourse Seven, “The goal of spiritual life is union with God, and knowledge alone cannot achieve this. But to know God aright is nonetheless imperative, since any misconceptions we cling to make God union virtually impossible.”
