About the Author

Deborah J. Shaw

Deborah J. Shaw has three children and four grandsons. She lives in Peoria, Arizona, and is retired from the Peoria Police Department in Arizona. She served in the United States Air Force and her son, Christopher, currently serves in the United States Marine Corps. She is a descendent of Revolutionary War hero Brigadier General James Williams, and his brother, John Williams, was a member of the Continental Congress and signed the Articles of Confederation.
