Dr. Annisteen Tate-Cammack (AKA Renee Tate) is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, but spent most of her adult life in California. She retired from federal service after thirty -one years of employment. She also spent fifteen years in ordained ministry in the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Annisteen enjoys the dynamics of interpersonal communication and spent most of her career, secular and non-secular, in the field of interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.
Annisteen a graduate of Bennett College (B.A. & S); Chapman University (MA) and Trinity Theological Seminary (Ph.D.) is also the author of Culture and Conflict: African American Congregations,, Random Poetry and Prayers,, and Ode to the Grove.
Annisteen spends a part of her retirement years as an elementary school substitute teacher. She also enjoys writing, reading for pleasure, and experiencing different cuisines. She is married to Daniel, and they currently reside in Clayton, North Carolina. They share fourteen adult children and many grands and great-grandchildren.
Collaborating with these authors has been one of the greatest highlights of Renee Tate’s writing career.
