About the Author

Dr. Bonnie Gilbertson

Dr. Bonnie Gilbertson and her husband, Lloyd, live in Idaho with Jack the Cat. They are both retired and have been blessed with a daughter and two lively sons. In 1967, while living in the Philippine Islands, there was an attempted abduction of the author’s daughter, creating a lasting emotional impact. Dr. Gilbertson’s work as a therapist has always been to help children in dysfunctional situations, but her long-growing passion has been to stop child trafficking. She and her husband have lived in five different states and in the Philippine Islands, Italy, and Japan. Dr. Gilbertson worked for over thirty years as a child psychologist. She administered a summer camp school for Kunori Gakuen High School near Mount Fuji and hired teachers from the Naval Base in Yokosuka Department of Defense High School during their summer break. This effort helped over two hundred youths learn English prior to entering college. Dr. Gilbertson is at work on the sequel to Loyal Deceit.
