It is the story of the birth of Speed Skiing and extreme skiing in the Sierras in the 1800’s and the quest of Steve McKinney for the modern speed record. Mark Twain and the Comstock Lode come to life along with many of it’s famous characters as we take a rowdy trip back to Virginia City in 1865 and Bill Harrah, thrills as he drives his new Ferrari race car around the crystal shore of Lake Tahoe. Mira Slovak, Bob Hoover, Don Beck and Snowshoe Thompson, are some more famous characters whose stories are explored in this fast paced story of the Silver State.
