Craig Beck and his wife Cindy live at Lake Tahoe in the High Sierras. Craig is acknowledged as the Grandfather of Extreme skiing and is also a pioneer hang-glider pilot. He is a Charter and Life Member of the U.S. Hang-gliding association and has the highest level of proficiency a Masters Rating. He is also an Examiner, Instructor and Observer for hang gliders and has logged over 4,000 hours in Hang-gliders, Sailplanes, ultralites and Aerobatic Aircraft. He also enjoys shaping surfboards and designing hydrofoils for surfing.
