They travel back and forth between Arkansas and Arizona due to their dad’s job as a seasonal worker. In Arkansas, the family lives in a small house close to relatives. In Arizona, they live in a tent on property owned by the company their dad works for.

Dorothy Joshua Miller is a retired middle school teacher. She was born in Hope, Arkansas and spent most of her first 18 years there. A few months here and there were spent in Yuma, Arizona. Mrs. Miller is an honor graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (Arkansas A.M.& N . College). For the past 44 years she has lived in Texas. Her hobbies include writing and collecting just about anything you could imagine.
