In medieval times story was often depicted through tapestry. The Gobelin factory has been retelling these stories for hundreds of years. It exists today in France. Heroic deeds, quest of breathtaking bravery. Love won, love fought for, love lost. All threaded into colorful tellings of lives passage. The island of Gobelin is such a place that tells these stories. In this story a tapestry is woven from the people that came and made their lives on the island of Gobelin. How their stories intertwine, how the colors of heart break, pain, belief, and determination blend into a beautiful and lovely understanding of each other.

 

About the Author

Julia McKinlay

I spent thirty-five years writing this little story. Not because it didn’t haunt me, or the characters didn’t look at me with remiss. Life just gets in the way. Life also expands experience, I’m glad it’s taken this long. I had to settle arguments, some requests I could not grant. These passages are the character’s story. I was just lucky to be their medium I hope you are inspired and moved in their journey.
