West Point July 1960 - June 1964

by William Robertson

Book Details

Take a trip back in time, to West Point in the early sixties...

William Robertson and his West Point classmates bonded deeply, as they all endured the same barrage of challenges and gained mutual respect in the process. Sir, The Days! is a narrative presented in the historical context of the times: President Kennedy’s inauguration and assassination, the Cuban Missile Crisis, General MacArthur’s “Duty, Honor, Country” speech to the Corps of Cadets, the Cold War in Europe, and the Army- Navy football games. While some of his experiences were unique, Robertson primarily writes about experiences he and his classmates shared—and dedicates this nostalgic memoir to the West Point class of 1964. Loyal friends and good men all!
