Antoine Maurice Kidd is an African American author from Mobile, Alabama who specializes in poetry and novel writing. From an early age, Antoine has always been a creative thinker. He has written scripts for school plays, stories for music videos and much more. After years of being in a rap group, Antoine decided to join the United States Army. Being away from home caused him to sink into depression so he began to write poetry for comfort. Most of his poems are a direct reflection of his emotions at the time. With plenty of free time, Antoine eventually began writing his first novel which is unreleased, and published his first book of poems in 2019 titled “A Walk Through Life.” He has also written unreleased short films. In the near future, Antoine plans to publish another book of poems, publish his first novel and start directing his first short film.
