Perry Riff facilitated several support group meetings involving drug abuse, phobias, and sexuality issues. As an educator and substance abuse counselor he heard all kinds of stories illustrating how people's lives were destroyed by engaging in all forms of sin. He taught psychology, special education, and sociology on the college level and did a lot of research to become familiar with the Asian continent. From his experiences he learned that without a change in a person's heart by the power of God's Spirit, it is difficult to make the needed changes.

The need to help people with unwanted same-sex attraction and gender confusion continued to increase as many countries were pressured by the United Nations to accept the LGBT community and gay marriage. Asia today is at the forefront of change and needs to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ as the answer to its many problems. God loves the Chinese people and is willing to send witnesses of his love to them!
