She led the way to the district’s first anti-bullying program, Steps to Respect. Joan created a safe place for three generations of students at Northwest Local Schools. “Proud to be part of the Clinton/Canal Fulton community for thirty-five years.”

NOW: “Blessed is he who connects with nature.” Death forced Joan into a solo flight with little direction. With the help of GEs, gentle encouragers, the birds and the bees, the flowers and the trees, gave her purpose. By writing and sitting on a rock Joan continues to discover herself. “Just like jeans and a tee shirt, humans and nature go together.”
