About the Author

Shade Sandman

Shade Sandman was born September 17, 1974 in Atwood, Kansas with heart problems, a deformed right hand and short right arm. Shade has had two real life, near death experiences at 2 weeks of age and at age 38. Shade’s parents were told by doctors, “He may not live to see his 1st birthday”. As of the publication of this book, that is going on 46 years ago. Shade has had a paralyzed left vocal cord since age 13. He still has difficulty speaking loud even with numerous surgeries. Do to Shade’s illness and near death experience in August 2013, at the age of 39, for five months Shade had to regain the use of his left arm and hand, also he had to learn how to walk all over again.
