Book Details

Most people prefer a lullaby when it comes to a relationship with
God. We've all behaved like babies for too long. We want someone to sing us to sleep again and tell us that they'll take care of everything for us. The most basic Biblical principles cause us to squirm a little.

C.S. Lewis wrote, "A "liberal' Christianity which considers itself free to alter the Faith whenever Faith looks perplexing or repellent must be completely stagnant. Progress is made only into a resisting material." He called these topics we hesitate to discuss "repellent doctrines".

Hungry for the truth? This book will help you delve into the Bible, meet with your Father, chew on His words, and discover your true identity as His offspring.

  • Find peace - Follow Jesus into the kingdom of heaven. Today, enter into God's Sabbath rest.
  • Overcome - Discover how carefree obedience enables you to receive His Spirit of Power.
  • Experience healed relationships. Learn to accept and practice forgiveness.
  • Exercise the basics of spiritual warfare. Identify the enemy and train for spiritual authority.
  • Live your purpose - Show up for the lessons and learn to love, really love, as Jesus does.

We have a job to do. It's time to grow up and learn the family business!

About the Author

Pam Stevenson

Pam Stevenson knows what it’s like to run a small family business with her husband. Mindful of the lifelong struggle for balance between family, work, church and community, she took a journey into God’s word to find answers. What does God want us to prioritize while we live on earth? What does it look like to be in His family?

Her practical approach to Biblical literacy invites us all to feast on an extra helping of God’s word, especially the most challenging. After all, being part of His family involves growth, discipline and responsibility.

Active church member, speaker, and seasoned Bible study teacher, Pam Stevenson is passionate about the Word of God, digging deep to mine nuggets of truth. As a volunteer in the state correctional Substance Abuse Felony Punishment facility in Burnet, Texas, she formed the non-profit, Joseph’s Hammer, to build a worship center for women in prison.

Pam challenges us to grow and heal rather than settling into a comfortable faith. You’ll find her using her free time to write the next book if she’s not in the garden.
