About the Author

Caryn Mears

Caryn Mears is the author of several short stories, but when her mother was afflicted with Parkinson’s while writing her autobiography, Caryn requested to tell her mother’s story. She has completed her M.S. Degree in Leadership and Curriculum Design at National University in San Diego, and has taught in Brisbane, Australia, Chula Vista, CA, Las Vegas, NV, and Kennewick, WA. She is currently retired from teaching elementary music and enjoys visiting her five granddaughters.
