My name is Jake Rivers. In this book you will travel through the twentieth century. Your vantage point will be the seat of a diesel cab. Most of the stories reflect my first-hand experiences since I went on the road years ago; the others, dating way back, have been told to me by a participant in or observer of the event. I wanted to get these stories down before I pull into the Big Parking Lot. I enjoyed writing them, hopefully, you will enjoy reading them.
