Book Details

Your government has stolen your freedom and is stealing your property. Read how they do it.

He who has the gold makes the rules. It has been such since the “Garden” and those who own nature’s assets have fashioned a government that insures those who do, get the lion’s share and keep in bondage those who have to work to obtain at least a share in order to stay alive. Two economic systems have been tried and both fail because we have never matched our number with real need for human labor based on improvements in efficiency brought on by the advent of machines. Socialism fails because many who share do not contribute and those who do contribute get nothing extra for their effort. Capitalism fails because the numbers of consumers exceed those of the producers and if you do not work you get nothing with which to purchase the necessities of life. Political systems have evolved to implement the economic systems and they range from Monarchy to Despotism to Democracy. The latter is by far the worst because when it is found not to work it is the most difficult to eliminate. They are all bound to fail when nature’s reproducible assets are insufficient to fuel the population and exploit the assets nature has provided. Dr. Blanchard describes the workings of a Democracy and how, in order to maintain it, government has skewed the distribution of nature’s assets to the benefit of those who own them. Government does this through the tax code to favor those who give them that power but have now lost control and have bankrupted us in the mercantile economy and are leading us to bankruptcy in the economy based on nature’s reproducible assets. In the process, it is taking down with it the world’s economic system that is based on the U. S. dollar and resulting in civil wars where that bankruptcy has already occurred. In this book he exposes how, by breaking their own laws, government has manufactured the crisis of survival we now find ourselves in. How we can avert it was described in his previous book, “The Real Economy”.
