About the Author

Neil Mahoney

Neil Mahoney, PhD, was born and raised in Roxbury, Boston. He graduated from Boston University in the late fifties, and moved to San Francisco in 1964, just in time to involve himself in the middle of the protest movement of the 60’s. He holds multiple degrees in addition to his PhD in Public Policy, including two Masters degrees and a clinical hypnotherapy certification he obtained in his 70’s. He has been an educator most of his life, fortunate enough to teach in multiple venues across all age ranges, from individuals to large groups, serving at one time as Chairman of the Landmark faculty. His passion and lifelong study has been the interconnection between mind and brain, the science of human behavior. The Harvard Square Mob was written originally as a screenplay and was once picked up by a major studio. It was rewritten as a short novel, which sat on a desk for several years until a friend urged him to publish it.
