Nina Randall lives on Water Island in the US Virgin Islands with her sister Grace Randall (who is the creative consultant on the books) and her dogs, Beatrice and Blitzen. She also has two cats, Artemis and Apollo, and four rabbits. She is 13 years old, and goes to the seventh grade at Antilles School. This is her first book, but not the last. Candace Whittemore Lovely is an American impressionist painter and Copley Master, known for her non-confrontational views of contemporary American life, including landscapes of treasured locales and people at play in idyllic locations. She painted the official portrait of Barbara Bush and Millie. She lives and works in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The wind?” she smiled, clearly thinking, ‘Oh Pixels, you’re so silly’. “She can’t hear me. Only you can hear me.” It came again. Ok, I thought, Skye’s right, it’s just the wind or something. “You know I’m not,” it said. “Skye? Skye?
