Guardian of the Dragons A Mage’s Quest

When the Trade Caravans come through the valley in early spring, Garig learns that his great-grandfather, a Druid priest and mage, has been missing from his village. Garig's adopted Dadda does not seem as concerned as Garig thinks he should be, and takes it upon himself to go rescue his Grandfather McGarkin. This sends him on an adventure of dealing with highwaymen, mercenaries, sword fighting, and a tyrant king of the north. On this journey, Garig learns about his family’s history, and that he is expected to someday inherit the position as Head of the Guardian of the Dragons family, as well as Head Mage of the Council of Mages. Would he be a mage powerful enough to withstand all who oppose him? Can he possibly stop the feuding that has gone on for generations? Perhaps with the help of his dragons?
