About the Author

James Gholson, Jr.

James Gholson is a product of Fairmont Heights High School in the D.C. metro area. He has served as clarinetist with the U.S. Navy Band, Professor of Clarinet at the University of Memphis, and Principal Clarinetist with the Memphis Symphony. Currently, he is a board member with the Eroica Ensemble of Memphis and performs with that group. He has authored Feets, Tight, Reading Rampage, and The Seasoned Clarinetist.
