F. (Fred) Whitney Harrington grew up in New England and migrated to West Virginia via Ohio and Pennsylvania. A retired teacher and educational administrator, he lives on his 43-acre farm where he gardens (great tomatoes), hunts, teaches, writes stories and helps his wife Sallie raise Cody. The catastrophic process has begun with celestial failures and super novas especially along the universal fault lines. As the kids try to rally their friends, they find them unexplainably missing. As the days left in the countdown shrink, they must locate and rescue their friends, find the elusive Amulet of Creation, and deal with Murkar’s attacks.
