L. M. Parkhurst was born in Los Angeles, California, during the Cold War. Consequently intrigued by Space exploration fact and fiction she grew up seeking information by such authors as Isaac Asimov, Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury and Andre Norton. Filled with the belief that if a person can think an Idea that there can come a day when that idea becomes a reality. Science Fiction is that reality which keeps her hopes alive as she continues to watch the stars in the company of her animal companions from her home in the mountains of John Day, Oregon.
