Paula Gilbert has been an open-air street preacher for five years, although she has been actively involved in other forms of ministry since her Christian conversion in 1993. The call of a street evangelist is often misunderstood and criticized, yet it is a tried and true biblical approach for reaching souls for Jesus Christ. This type of preaching was practiced by Old Testament prophets, as well as in the New Testament by John the Baptist, Jesus, the Apostles and disciples. Paula began preaching alongside her husband on their first date. One month after they were married, they went to West Africa to teach about the Holy Spirit, where they witnessed people being baptized with God’s Holy Fire, as well as the miraculous healing of a man who had a terrible digestive disorder. Since the publication of this book, Paula and her husband Jay have continued to minister Jesus Christ to the nations, and currently they are ordained pastors, bible teachers, evangelists, missionaries, and founders of In Union With God Ministries.
