My Heart’s Desire is the story of one woman’s revelation that she had to give up her attempt to change her husband before she could learn the truth about love, marriage and relationships. As a Counselor, Sarah Altman had helped many couples gain insight into how to have a happier more fulfilling relationship. Unfortunately, her years of education, training and experience couldn’t fix her own failing marriage. Finally, admitting defeat brought forth a new understanding of what had to be done. My Heart’s Desire is a personal account of her journey.

My complaints included his inability to manage money, his unwillingness to help around the house, and his refusal to spend “real” quality time with the kids. But the thing that irritated me the most was what I perceived as his only show of affection, wanting sex.
