PERHAPS ONE OF THE MOST SIGNIFCANT BOOKS EVER WRITTEN

In this book the author presents a composite picture of our existence, drawing upon the concepts of some of our greatest scientific and religious thinkers of all time. He discusses some commonly held beliefs, in both science and religion that may be erroneous, and offers other options or possibilities applying to them.

This book is based on the following premise:

If what science says is true, and if what basic world religions say is also true, then they must be alluding to the same basic truths. The quest to uncover and present this “sameness” is the goal of this book.

Book Excerpt

We have progressed far in understanding our universe, its origin, and our origins as a sentient species. Unfortunately, as we evolved as a human species, much of what we have accepted as reality, truths, and beliefs, are actually illusions, or incomplete understanding, of what is actually happening now, or has happened in the past. Even though mankind has discovered many things and gained much knowledge concerning our existence and its evolutionary process, there is still much more to discover and learn than we have achieved so far concerning both science and religion.

While primarily presenting the concepts given to us by our greatest thinkers about the evolutionary process of our universe and our species, the author proposes some new, and sometimes unusual, alternatives to commonly held beliefs, both in science and religion. These suggestions are in no way intended to condemn or belittle any currently held beliefs, either in science or religion, but rather to persuade the reader to think deeply about their beliefs and contrast them to the new proposals or options presented by the author.

The author’s original ideas and concepts, related to both science and religion, are joined with those of our great thinkers to illustrate how many of the pieces of the intricate puzzle of our existence come together logically to form a composite concept that questions, and hopefully satisfies, many of our scientific and most cherished religious beliefs.

About the Author

Raymond J. Jerome

Biography:

Professionally, the author is a doctor of medicine. He has spent eight years of extensive research, taking the concepts of some of the most brilliant intellects of all time, involving the diverse disciplines of particle physics, cosmology, chemistry, geology, biology, neurophysiology, anatomy, consciousness, psychology, religious beliefs, and evolutionary processes, and he has combined them into a composite picture of our entire physical and spiritual existence. This composite concept explains who and what we are, how it all came to be, why we act as we do, and then it is proposed what each human being must do, individually, to continue evolving in a positive manner.

In preparing the material for this book, the author has spoken personally with two Nobel Laureates in neurophysiology, some of the worlds most recognized particle physicists, and one of nine “Living Buddhas” in Mongolia. He has read extensively in the numerous divergent disciplines mentioned earlier -- including religious texts from the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Holy Qur’an, and numerous recent metaphysical texts. He has read a "red letter edition” of the New Testament six times and the entire Bible three times, which has given him an entirely different concept, of what Christ was actually trying to tell mankind, than what we routinely hear from "religious" pulpit sermons. This newly acquired religious concept was used, along with the author's other concept gathering endeavors, in preparation for writing this book.

These concepts from past and present sages, in their respective fields of both science and religion, give interesting perspectives in this book of both our physical and spiritual existences that we experience in our matter universe.
