Her family was all she had and now they were gone.

A group of boys have gathered to play baseball at a local sandlot field. What happens next would rock a community and two families. One family, the Bentley’s, steeped in faith and loyalty, the other, the Huber’s, torn asunder by infidelity, lies and deceit. Before the dust has settled, one man would be dead, another sent to prison, and a young man would be left to deal with the aftermath. Rod Taylor, a seasoned and dedicated public servant, wades through fact and fiction to uncover a diabolical plan that would ultimately determine the heartbreaking outcome.
