Book Details

The world is made round so we cannot see the road that lies ahead...

'Katlyn's consciousness returned slowly. Without opening her eyes she could smell the medicine, hear the beeps of machines.'

As we journey down life's road we encounter many unexpected curves. But with each turn we become stronger and more confident people. Katlyn's life was no different from ours. From childhood to adult she learned of the uncertainties of life. She found that there are no promises in a tomorrow without going through the conflicts of today.

Katlyn searched for the same treasures as we do; identity, sercurity, and true love. The moment she thought her life was complete; Katlyn hit the curve that would change her future forever.

Book Excerpt

The wind was blowing. Katlyn brushed her blonde strands behind her ear away from her face, regretting she had not taken the time to pull it back. "Up the beach, two walkways, blue shutters." She pointed out her house. "My parents live there. I try to spend some time with them during the summers."
Greg took a step closer, meeting Katlyn's eyes and followed along her smooth slightly tanned arm in the direction she aimed.
Flip-flop went Katlyn's heart. The feeling surprised her.
She watched him, as he walked over and tossed the partially eaten apple in the nearby trash container. He wiped his hand down the side of his shorts and held it out. "I'm Greg. Greg Taylor." Checking out her left finger, as he took her hand in his...no ring.
Accepting his hand, "Katlyn Jones, it's nice to meet you."
Greg smiled.
