The Treacherous Journey of Abandoning Religion

Deciding to abandon one’s religion can be difficult particularly when one has been culturally indoctrinated since childhood to believe a certain way about the world and God. The author was raised as a Mormon during his primary years, converted to an evangelical form of Christianity in the latter part of high school before attending a Christian university wherein he obtained his bachelors degree in history. After college the author went to law school and over the last 20 years began to seriously study the history of Christianity, among other religions, after having serious questions and doubts about the legitimacy of his beliefs. This book explores the personal journey of one who had the courage to seriously question everything he believed since childhood while still maintaining the integrity of his values.
