During her 25 years in the radio industry, Jennifer worked at two national radio networks, and radio stations in Nevada, Arizona, Rhode Island, Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Massachusetts. She has driven the Pacific Coast Highway twice, and driven coast to coast three times. In January 2015, after watching The War of the Birds on YouTube, she began to research the World War II pigeons. Some of the things she has studied include Operation Columba, the use of pigeons on D-Day, the Middle Eastern Pigeon Service, and Operation Gibbon, a Special Operations Executive mission to set up a secret pigeon service in Belgium to deliver intelligence from Belgium to Britain. Jennifer graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in History and from Emerson College with an M.A. in Mass Communications.
