A Children’s Guide to Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease

Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a condition that affects millions of people all over the world. Persons that are diagnosed with this disease will eventually lose their memory and one day pass away. This book focuses on the relationship between a boy (Quincy, age 8) and his grandfather, and helping him to understand the meaning of Alzheimer’s disease. Although the grandfather has problems remembering things, he is still considered by Quincy as the “World’s greatest grandpa.” Dedication: This book is dedicated to the children of parents and grandparents that love and have cared for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or other related disorders that cause permanent memory loss.
