About the Author

Michael Schwaba

Michael Schwaba was born in Chicago, Illinois and currently lives in California “because I’d rather deal with rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, tarantulas and scorpions than midwest mosquitoes.” When he was a boy in the 1950s he discovered the school library and read all 14 of the original L. Frank Baum Oz books, as well as the Mary Poppins series, among others. They stirred his imagination as easily as a wooden spoon in a bowl of brownie batter. Add to the mix TV shows like One Step Beyond, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone, and The Outer Limits, and it’s no wonder he writes books like The Unsettled.
