About the Author

Dernice Bailey Samuel

Dernice “Dee” Bailey Samuel, poet/psalmist, lives in Southern California, and is surrounded by the love of her four wonderful sons, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, and two sisters. She has a longstanding career with the largest law enforcement agency in the nation, with a background in budget and fiscal management. Dernice teaches an adult Sunday School class, serves as a greeter, and is on the Trustee Board of her church. She loves the Lord, and spends time studying the Holy Scriptures, writing, and reciting at various church and private events. She has captured some of her poetry/recitations on audio recordings, which are available on CD.
