QUEST FOR POETIC EXCELLENCE: A PSYCHOLOGICAL HEAD GAME

The Poetic Ambassador is:

– a heady joy ride through the psycho-sexual escapades and reflections of three young poets caught up in a love triangle while competing with each other to become the poetic ambassador for ZeitGeist— a prestigious publishing house widely known for traditional poetry.

– a headwaters excursion revealing how secrets can be as compelling and influential as experience for the inherited behaviors we channel, the risky chances we sometimes take, and the deliberate choices we often make and unmake.

– a head-first, in-depth examination of what can happen when either mercenary motives or willful intellectual myopia or promiscuity in hot pursuit of ambition affects sound judgment and good old-fashioned fair play.

– ahead of the curve in terms of how its veiled use of characters as narrators keeps its readers guessing as to the true identities of various narratives within the text.

– a headstrong romp through interview logistics, boardroom dynamics, boudoir elaborations, Halloween gala festivities—all representing a passionate poetic quest.
