There’s Something Different about That Butterfly…

It’s a nice spring day and Miss Susan decides to take her students outside to the Beech tree at the edge of the school grounds to read in the sunshine. They enjoy this so much, they want to do it again and again. One day they encounter the most unusual butterfly they have ever seen. No one can identify this rather large butterfly. It lands right on Rashelle’s nose and looks her straight in the eye as if to tell her something and then flutters from student to student before flying off to the woods. On the advice of Mr. Sam, the wisest person in town, they decide to follow it to see where it goes. They learn that not everything is as it seems. The butterfly leads them on an adventure in a nearby magical woods. Then it teaches them how to bring that magic closer to home. Their world begins to change as they start to understand their role in shaping their world.
