Anthony Foreman served for 23 years in the Marine Corps, and has also worked for the federal government in Washington, DC. For the past six years he has owned the popular Bourbon Street Grille in Rockford, Illinois. He is the author of the self-help book What Every Teenager Should Know About Life. Mr. Foreman’s father was a sharecropper in Arkansas, and although The Lynchings of Belle Haven is fiction, he wanted to show what life was like for sharecroppers, inspired by his family history.
