A story based on true events

Set in the first half of the twentieth century, this story primarily takes place in Texas and Indian Territory (Oklahoma). The central character is Carlos Benson, an appealing, gifted, and ambitious young man with a promising future but whose impulsive tendency to veer off course and whose inability to sustain relationships put his life in jeopardy.
