Book Excerpt

Chapter 3 SUMMARY Many people today try to limit the ten horns in the end times to the geographic boundaries of the fourth kingdom in Daniel, (The Roman Empire). They are using a geographic definition of the word "kingdom". Instead, Daniel is using a political definition of the word "kingdom". These kingdoms in Daniel fall into two categories, monarchies and non-monarchies (branch type governments). Under this definition, the ten horns are not confined to the geographic boundaries of the old Roman Empire. Instead, they are defined by their political structure. They can be located anywhere in the world. They only need to have a branch type government like the Roman Empire. They will not be monarchies! Chapter 4 SUMMARY The beast in the book of Daniel is the Roman Empire. It was not a monarchy. Instead , it was a republic or branch type government. The ten horns and the little horn will be heads of those kinds of governments. They will not be monarchies. Initially, the little horn, or anti-Christ, will merge three of those branch type governments. He will establish an alliance with seven other branch type governments. This relationship will continue until the middle of the Tribulation. At this time, some or all of these seven nations begin questioning the anti-Christ's leadership. Because of this, the anti-Christ will be in danger of losing control. At this time, Satan is cast down to the earth. God restricts Satan's movements and control. He will not be allowed the freedom that he has had in the past. Therefore, Satan offers the anti-Christ control of the nations, if the anti-Christ allows Satan to have control of him. Once Satan indwells the anti-Christ, the anti-Christ becomes the beast of Revelation for the next three and one half years. He becomes a dictator and carries out Satan's desires. His kingdom becomes a revival of the Babylonian Empire. All the nations worship him and give their allegiance to him. Chapter 5 SUMMARY Economics has been a part of every peoples and nation throughout history. It is their means of gaining wealth. Without it, they would not have any income. It is their means of survival. Today, our countries are dependent upon international trade for their prosperity. No one country can thrive on its own. If Europe's economy falters ours is affected. As I am writing this, Europe is afraid they might be sliding into another recession. China's economy is becoming stagnant. Russia's economy is also shaky. We are just one event away from economic chaos. Our problems come from life styles that spend more than we earn. The result is personal and national debt. We do not want to change our life style, so we continue to accumulate more debt, which we cannot afford. We become slaves to maintaining a world economy that will allow us to maintain our life style. That will be the controlling factor, which brings ten of the largest economic nations together, in the end times. We are almost there today! "The harlot" (world economics) will control the decisions that the leading nations will make. In the end, the anti-Christ will use economics to control other nations and give himself total control. He will do this through a computer hub located in the city of Babylon, and revive the Babylonian Empire.
