God is still in the Miracle Business today

This book tells the remarkable story of how AL SANCHEZ, a man of deep faith and commitment, overcame incredible obstacles to answer God’s call to help orphaned, abandoned, and abused girls in Guatemala. You will laugh, cry, and be inspired as you read about the miraculous ways God worked through him to build Prince of Peace Home for Girls, a place of refuge for wounded and needy girls in Guatemala. You will: Be touched by stories of the girls and the founder. Gain new understanding of life in a third-world country. Be encouraged to see how God works through ordinary people to accomplish His will. Perhaps consider getting out of your comfort zone to go on a short- term missions trip yourself. Watch your own faith grow as you read of the struggles and victories of others.

About the Author

Cindy Miller

CINDY MILLER was “shot out of a cannon” by God to help Al Sanchez carry on his calling to minister to hurting girls in Guatemala when it seemed that his vision had ended in disaster. Cindy agreed to go for three months, but stayed for 17 years! She was not trained for her job in a school for missions, but rather in the School of Hard Knocks. She describes her experiences with the Home as the most challenging and most meaningful of her life. Cindy lives at Christian Retreat in Bradenton, Florida, and has two children and two grandchildren.
