Our Future Demands Change

This is a work of social philosophy which addresses the critical problems confronting human societies in our time. Many changes have happened in the world since WWII, both progressive and reactive. This book examines the present dilemma from a progressive liberal point of view. The four parts which comprise the book are at once independent and interdependent essays, each of which addresses a particular fundamental aspect of the problem of human existence in our time. In broad terms, Part One discusses what an optimal world would look like, were we able to attain one. Part Two examines the present human condition. Part Three focuses on the role of religion in our time, while Part Four addresses the problem of injustice (or inequality). In short, The Future of Humanity is simply my modest contribution to a collaborative effort to build a better world.
