Book Details

Captain Gregory Nelson, captain of a Reilly World transport cargo spaceship, invites Investigator Douglas Kincaid to accompany him to the mining world of Ryye on the rim of the galaxy. Captain Nelson had assisted Doug another time, after Doug had went on a blitz taking down the criminal empire and rescuing the abducted women on the world of Dwyer, he had transported the women back to Trenton, the capitol world of the Empire. The plan was simply. Accompany Captain Nelson to the world of Ryye and then back to Trenton, the capitol world of the Empire. But plans have a way of going astray. When they observe a rogue independent cargo hauler, by the name of Blackjack, delivering abducted women and children to the self-proclaimed mayor of the city of Joetown, to be pressed into sexual servitude, Doug vows to rescue the women and children. Doug, along with his companions—R Javelle Jovok, a humaniform robot, and fellow investigator Lynda Ryan—team up with a woman known only as Ma. Together they rescue the abducted women and children. When the dust settles, the city of Joetown is ready for a regime change.
