Book Details

Treasonable secrets, once buried are best left undisturbed and are worth killing to ensure they remain entombed. But, when bundled with gold, few can resist its seductive lure and will challenge even the Devil himself to possess it. But, when bundled with gold, few can resist its seductive lure and will challenge even the Devil himself to possess it.

In the decade prior to the War Between the States, the inhabitants of this emerging Nation, publicly and often violently, expressed their displeasure at what they perceived to be an all too common occurrence. The indignity of having their personal freedoms and property openly trampled upon by those who opposed their principles. When these feelings erupted into open warfare many took up arms. Others were quick to see this chaos as the ideal time to achieve a cherished goal. One such man held the reins of power in Salt Lake City, the other in Richmond, Virginia, but success of their conspiracy required them to move in the shadows and hinged upon the total victory of Confederate Arms. Failure meant the end of all they had accomplished to date as well as all they hoped to achieve in the future. But unforeseen occurrences foiled the scheme and now a decade after General Lee’s surrender a chance discovery could bring to light this treasonable act and the gold that secured this agreement. Trace Santee and Sergeant Mickey Free, embark on a quest to recover this hidden treasure, but when riding into the unknown, one had best know friend from foe.
