What is the role of the father in the life of a person?

The Dad Book takes the reader on a spiritual and emotional journey to explore the role of the dad in their life. These stories and facts are drawn from the author’s experience as a father, son, and pastor with more than forty years of ministry under his belt. One in three children is raised in a fatherless home according to the US Census and 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes (US Dept. of Health). Research shows 85% of all children with behavior disorders come from fatherless homes (Center for Disease Control). Why do some succeed in spite of statistics while others fail because of them? The Dad Book brings healing and strength to those who can relate to emotional trauma those statistics bring. The position of the father is to provide the child with a paradigm of Father God. You may ask, “How can I know Him if I’ve never known him?” The Dad Book provides clarity and a biblical solution to life’s challenges. If you struggle in your marriage, friendships, or in figuring out life, then The Dad Book is for you. If you were raised with a great dad, like the author, it helps you to appreciate the dads in your life and recognize your other dads. Wherever you are with or without your dad, allow the healing power of the Holy Spirit to guide you on this spiritual journey. Be prepared to laugh, cry, be healed and propelled into your destiny.

She might not be wife material, but I would like to get close to her.” One Sunday after church, Lisa got the nerve to walk up to Terrance and speak. She asked him if he would like to go get something to eat. After all, her mom had the children for the weekend and she didn’t know what she was going to do for dinner. Terrance’s heart jumped. He quickly said, “Yeah sure.” He was embarrassed by his rapid response. They laughed and agreed on where to meet. Driving out of the church parking lot Lisa thought,
