About the Author

Kerry Klunder LBSW, MA

Kerry grew up in Waverly, Iowa and now lives in Mason City. Her husband, 2 sons and 2 very spoiled dogs keep her busy and provide great material for sharing funny anecdotes. For the past 10 years she has been employed as a social worker at Hospice of North Iowa, and draws from her experiences to create this lighthearted and realistic look at the roles social workers have in this field. Her education and experience of working in Hospice or teaching at the college level allow her to share techniques, tips, and insights in this complex and specialized field of social work.
