Harrison Barjolo, who became Christian at the age of eleven is the second to the last of nine children. His biological mother passed away during child birth when he was about a year old. Harrison is a survivor of the brutal Liberian Civil War. He was an 11th Grade Student when the war broke out and his tribe (Krahn) was the target of the rebels. After running for his life and hiding in the jungle of Liberia for fourteen months, encountered many obstacles but out of them all God delivered him and miraculously led him through the rebel lines and reunited him with his parents and other family members in the Ivory Coast. Harrison lived in the Ivory Coast for almost two years, experiencing God's miracles and wonders there. God later opened the doors for him and some members of the Barjolos, they came to the United States of America in September of 1993. In the United States, Harrison enrolled at the Burncoat High School in Worcester, MA, and graduated in May of 1995. Harrison took a job in the Human Services field and also joined the United States Army in November of 1998 and diligently served for over twelve years and moving up to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Harrison is a happy father of two handsome boys and he is also a graduate of the Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA. Harrison believes that education has no age and limit, therefore he is planning to study theology to become a minister of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As you read the testimonies written in this book, you will get to understand that Harrison Barjolo has gone through the fire and flood of life and through the valley of the shadow of death. The entire life of Harrison has been a complete war fares and battles, but out of them all God has delivered him and he is alive for the glory of God.
